Children must be five (5) years of age by September 1, 2022 in order to enter Kindergarten for the 2022-2023 school year.
Parents are reminded that the Pennsylvania Law requires that children entering school for the first time must have completed the following minimum immunizations: diphtheria, tetanus (4 doses, with the fourth dose at age 4 or after), polio (3 doses), hepatitis B (3 doses), measles (2 doses), mumps (2 doses), German measles, and 2 doses of Varicella (chicken pox) or history of chicken pox disease. Most students entering school will have more than the required immunizations. Children who are not properly immunized will not be permitted to enter school, unless they have a written medical or religious exemption. There is no grace period, therefore we recommend that you contact your child’s health care provider to be sure your child is completely immunized.
Parents registering any child will be required to produce evidence of immunizations, birth certificate and proof of residency (an electric bill with your name and address on it).
